These annoying message is horrible. Whenever I'm trying to update my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1, it shows "Unable to check for update" and "Software update failed". I've tried to update several times in the last two days, but, unfortunately no win. Why this is happening to me?

Hi Samantha,
You need to check some issues.
01. Check your network connection. Use browser to connect to any website.
02. I think your iPhone 4 is fresh, not jailbroken. If yes, then you have to restore your device to it's original version, prior to jailbreak.
03. You may need to reset the network settings or DNS Flushing.
