Why is my iPhone 4 not holding the charges

I'm having trouble with my iPhone 4S. It's not been holding charges as before. Earlier, it could serve upto 10-12 hours min. But now only 4-5 hours. Need to change the battery or something else?

Try charging through PC. Connect it to your PC's hybrid USB point. Take tme to charge in full. Then see the difference, if any.

This can happen if your iPhone battery has worked a lot. When did you buy your iPhone?
Try to let the phone close because of less battery and then charge it in full. Do this 2-3 times and you might get some good results.
If not, maybe you should buy a new battery, but visit a technician before you do so.
